This Neurosurgery Fellowship provides an immersive experience for aspiring neurosurgeons, offering extensive exposure across a wide spectrum of neurosurgical procedures and patient care scenarios.
Key Focus Areas of the Program:
High Surgical Volume: Fellows benefit from a high volume of surgical cases performed annually, gaining exposure to a wide variety of neurosurgical techniques and approaches.
Inpatient Service Management: Fellows participate in the management of the inpatient service, gaining valuable insights into:
Postoperative care of vascular neurosurgical patients
ICU management of subarachnoid and intracerebral hemorrhage
Daily review of diagnostic and therapeutic imaging, including angiography and endovascular surgery
Outpatient Clinic Participation: Fellows experience pre-operative patient evaluations and post-operative patient management in the outpatient clinic setting.
Specific Case Exposure:
Cerebrovascular Diseases: The diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the blood vessels in the brain, such as aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, and stroke.
Brain Tumors: The surgical removal and management of various types of brain tumors.
Brain Bleeding: The management of intracranial hemorrhages, including subarachnoid and intracerebral hemorrhage.
Stroke: The acute and long-term management of stroke patients, including medical and surgical interventions.
Spinal Diseases and Trauma: The surgical and non-surgical management of spinal conditions, including degenerative diseases, trauma, and tumors.
Pediatric Neurosurgery: The unique challenges and surgical approaches involved in treating neurological conditions in children.

The training will be in English.
The price includes transportation between Airport-Hotel-Airport.
The price includes accommodation and 2 Meals per working day (Breakfast in the hotel and lunch in the hospital).
The accommodation will be at walking distance from the hospital.
